LO1 Task 2

A) Running order
The show that I looked at starts with a song 0:00-1:36 then adverts from 1:37:4-40, after the presenter Jon intoduces the show then at 4:56 the second song starts to play, Finally there is non stop music until 58:56 when Eddie says the outro then one last song plays and when that finishs the song finishes. The show overall is 60 minutes. The show that I listen to was posted on the 31st of January 2015 at 1am. The show dosent have much speech from the presenter, this is beause the show is based all around the music so that's what there is most of. B) DJs/Presenters
The first presenter Jon has a heavy Yorkshire accent and it was obvious that he is from Sheffield. This will appeal to the listeners because that's the accent that most people from Sheffield have. So listners will see him as a friendsly person. Also the presenter is relaxed and that fits in with the theme of the music and the mood of the radio show. Then the second producer Eddie sounds very relaxed.

C) Content
The songs are very vairied throughout the show and create different atmosheres. But the over all mood of the show is very relaxed and chilled out. All of the show is music apart from the adverts. There are songs like rescue the children, Jamacia Hurricane and Walking on Sunshine.

D) Audeinec
The radio show I will be looking at is Dubcental Live. Because the radio show has a specific genre of music it will have a specific target audience. Their main target audience is 15-25 year olds. That enjoy Dubstep and going out to raves. . This is because the stereotypical dubstep listener is middle class. Obviously Dubstep appeal to a range or different audiences but there are a specific group where most of the listeners are in. The category they fit into is C1, C2, D and E.
